Ms. Pontsho Sepoloane

Senior Technical Advisor in Nutrition Social and Human Development Unit South African Development Community SADC, Botswana

Pontsho Sepoloane has been a Health and Nutrition Specialist at UNICEF-SADC in Botswana since 2018, facilitating regional harmonization of policies in the SADC region, coordinating high impact actions through engagement with 16 states SADC members.

Prior to joining SADC, Pontsho Sepoloane was  Regional Nutrition Manager for the World Food  Program in Johannesburg from 2016 to 2018, providing technical nutrition support to 11 countries in the SADC region.

From 2005 to 2016, she worked in South Africa at the Ministry of Health, first as Deputy Director and Deputy Director. Pontsho Sepoloane holds an MA in Public Health Policy and Management from the University of Pretoria (2006 - 2010) and a Certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation from the University of Stellenbosch (2011).
